Cyberbulling is overstated?

I am always sad to hear of stories of young people who are bullied for a variety of reasons.  However, to those who believe that cyber bullying is nothing to worry about have it all wrong.  I was reading a recent an online article entitled  Studies show cyber bullying concerns have been overstated (http://usatoday30.usatoday.com/news/health/story/2012-08-01/research-cyberbullying-prevalent/56724200/1) was in itself overstated.  Online bullying is so much bigger than many can imagine.  Yes, it is true people can say whatever they want online.  However, the written word is so much more hurtful and to add someone’s picture(s) to make distortions only adds to the problem.  I become upset when others believe there is not a problem when it comes to cyber bullying.  To me, this just means that there are more ways to hide who is sending messages and on what sites they are posted.  It is no longer just the mega social media sites or by creating a personal website.  With these sites, monitoring is provided and reporting can be utilized.  Are there sites where people can post almost anything without hurting others?
