Plagiarism (Part 2)

Earlier I had written about plagiarism. Needless to say, I always have students ask “Really Mrs. Dewey? If someone has been gone for a long time, will anyone ever know?”  Of course, we have debates over the issue.  Yet, in my old hometown, this piece of news came out in the media—“Former principal allegedly rips off famed movie speech in scolding of former superintendent.”

Here is the link to the report I read:  http://www.kfoxtv.com/news/news/former-principal-rips-famed-movie-speech-scolding-/nSbN4/

When I share this with my students, I am sure we will have a great deal to discuss.
