Tumblebooks

I had a meeting today with my assistant and the lower school library.  We are trying to find online resources to supplement this part of our school as we do not have this capability.  As i was researching, I came across this site http://www.tumblebooks.com/library/asp/home_tumblebooks.asp

I loved the read-alongs. This would be so beneficial to our reading specialist.  We sure have come a long way from Hooked on Phonics!

  1. I worked in a library that used Tumblebooks and I too fell in love with them. I found an article a few months ago that highlighted the benefits of Tumblebooks which included increased reading scores and higher fluency.
I’m now able to access Tumblebooks through my local library’s home page.
