Online Databases

I only have one for my my 6th-12th grade library (none for my elementary library).  What am I to do?  The only one I have access to is JSTOR. Isn’t this a better database for college or grad students?  Can anyone recommend what I should be placing on my computers? I need to convince my administrators (and students) that there are so many better options than Google.

  1. JSTOR is a database for college and high end college bound students. I cannot see where you are located but if you are in NY state you should get an account from the NOVEL (NY Online Virtual Library) which offers many databases for free. There are databases appropriate to all grade levels. http://novelnewyork.org/

  2. This gives me a great idea to look for ones in Virginia. This would be a wonderful resource for our school library. Thank you!
