Blogs vs. WIkis

Blogs can be wonderful for sharing various things.  How can a library blog be  purposeful? It can be used as for feedback on books; it shares a place to review apps and websites that may help; sometimes it can be a place for teachers and students to discuss books, homework, and other things that are happening in the classroom.

Wikis provide the ability to work collaboratively on an assignment. Librarians and teachers can collect work that groups of students complete and can be shared with other students so they may add to it. This may act as good way to provide peer review and help students who can share their talents with other members of the class.
